Land Development Field Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Land Development Field Manager to oversee our land development projects in Atlanta and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all field operations related to land development, including grading, utilities installation, road construction, and landscaping
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including planning, engineering, and construction, to ensure seamless project execution
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards
  • Manage project schedules and budgets, identifying and mitigating potential delays or cost overruns
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in land development, preferably in residential construction
  • Strong knowledge of land development processes, construction methods, and local building codes in Atlanta and Georgia
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and contract documents
