Job Summary

Public Consulting Group LLC (PCG) is a leading public sector solutions implementation and operations improvement firm that partners with health, education, and human services agencies to improve lives.

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst 2 to join our team. As a Data Analyst 2, you will be responsible for implementing methodologies, research questions, evaluations, and analysis plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducts simple and complex quantitative analyses using SQL, R, and SPSS, among other analysis and statistical software tools.
  • Visualizes, interprets, reports, and communicates data findings creatively.
  • Develops and maintains local databases.
  • Mapped and conducts analysis on source data files (varied formats).
  • Provides technical assistance and conducts training in use of data collection tools.
  • Assists in the design, implementation, and monitoring of quality assurance procedures for all analyses.
  • Provides guidance, oversight, and development assistance to less senior staff.
  • Facilitates the implementation of research projects and monitors for quality and timely completion.
  • Supports the evaluation team in preparing data requests to access administrative datasets.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational, oral presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytic skills, including the ability to analyze and organize data and display in professional charts and graphs.
  • Ability to work both in a team environment and autonomously.
  • Proficiency in analytic software tools, including SQL, R, and SPSS.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, in particular Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Overtime should be expected.
  • Ability to interpret results and write complex reports.
  • Tableau experience, preferred.
  • Previous research experience.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree preferred in relevant field, Bachelor's Degree at a minimum.
  • 2 years of experience conducting evaluation and complex analyses.
  • 2 years of experience in conducting research or program evaluations of social services agencies.

Working Conditions

Office Setting: 67%

Travel: 33%

This position is a remote, work from home position. PCG is a remote-friendly organization and is committed to creating a culture where remote work remains a vital part of the company's success.

Some travel to the office or elsewhere may be required for team meetings, client meetings, etc.

We are accepting applications on an ongoing basis until filled.

PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $59,000 and a potential discretionary bonus of up to 10%.
