Registered Nurse Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Clinical Resource Department/Float Pool team at Middlesex Health, a 5-time Magnet designated organization and one of Connecticut's Top Workplaces for a fifth year in a row.
As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment, providing high-quality care to our patients. You will be part of a team that values professional development, shared governance, and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess health needs of patients and provide nursing care in a safe and caring manner
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current and unrestricted license in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut or the ability to obtain
- Possess the knowledge and skills necessary to assess health needs of patients and to perform nursing care in a safe, caring manner
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of acute care nursing experience
- Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) preferred, but not required
- Epic experience
