The Lake Washington Schools Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the educational needs of students in the Lake Washington School District. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Development Coordinator to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled development professional to play a key role in supporting our strategic fundraising efforts. The Senior Development Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing an annual fundraising strategy, leading planning and logistics for donor and fundraising events, and building and maintaining positive relationships with donors.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an annual fundraising strategy to meet our revenue goals.
  • Lead planning and logistics for donor and fundraising events, including corporate sponsorship outreach and relationship management.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with donors, respond to inquiries, and devise strategies to encourage donor retention and increased giving.
  • Use data analysis and reporting tools to inform fundraising strategies and goals.
  • Collaborate with the Database Manager to create, maintain, and monitor online fundraising tools and other fundraising portals.
  • Ensure donor data accuracy, donations are properly recorded, and acknowledgment processes adhere to legal and organizational standards.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and complete projects with a minimum of supervision.
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English, with an exceptionally clear, persuasive, and dynamic written communication ability.
  • Project management skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a small team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain effective working relationships within a small team environment.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit.
  • Ability to conduct research, gather data, analyze information, and prepare reports and other materials.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite of products, Microsoft SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Previous non-profit experience and knowledge of DonorPerfect CRM or similar database experience are a plus.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of $60,000 - $70,000 per year, based on experience.
