Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with a range of acuity levels, from low to high.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care strategies.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition.
- 2 years of experience as an ER RN.
- Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Weekend work required.
- Average daily census: 220 visits/day.
- Patients range from low acuity to high acuity, including Stroke, STEMI, trauma, critically ill, and behavioral health needs.
- Travelers must be accustomed to a high-acuity setting and a very busy unit.
