We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Expert to join our team as an Auditing and Compliance Specialist. In this role, you will work on a wide range of accounting and auditing projects, encompassing clients across various industries, including commercial, construction, not-for-profit, governmental, healthcare, and employee benefit plans.
Responsibilities:- Under moderate supervision, complete assigned areas of engagement efficiently and timely.
- Work on more complicated/riskier areas of audit engagements.
- Prepare financial statements with full disclosures.
- Work toward obtaining a CPA license, if not already completed.
- Assist with training first-year staff accountants, primarily on an on-the-job basis.
- Serve as a role model in demonstrating TMH's Core Values.
Qualified candidates will possess:
- A minimum of two years of current and/or recent audit experience in public accounting.
- A BA/BS degree in Accounting.
- A CPA is preferred.
- An applied working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and accounting procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to meet challenging client requirements.
- Ability and willingness to travel.
- Entry-level candidates working toward their CPA license will also be considered.
$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
