Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Hollywood Casino at Toledo. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees, while also providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide first aid treatment as needed
  • Monitor communication equipment and maintain contact with dispatchers
  • Remove or assist in the removal of victims from accident or catastrophe scenes
  • Determine the nature and extent of illnesses or injuries, and establish first aid procedures
  • Administer prescribed first aid treatment and communicate with medical personnel
  • Assist in the removal of victims and transfer them to treatment centers
  • Maintain vehicles and medical equipment, and replenish first aid supplies
  • Assist in controlling crowds and enforcing safety rules
  • Provide superior service to our guests and maintain a safe gaming environment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Active certification as an EMT in the state of Ohio
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Able to handle stressful situations and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to run on level surfaces and up and down stairs
  • Ability to identify and respond to potential problems and conflicts
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
