Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled CT Scan Technologist to join our team at ChristianaCare's Newark Hospital Imaging Department. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will perform CT scans, administer contrast media, and maintain patient records.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position working the evening shift, requiring every 3rd weekend and holiday on call.
  • You will be responsible for performing CT scans, administering contrast media, and maintaining patient records.
  • You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Perform all phases of CT scan testing, including data acquisition and image reconstruction.
  • Administer contrast media under physician supervision and assess patient for adverse reactions.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Completion of an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current ARRT registry in CT Scan required; completion of CT Registry exam within 2 years of hire.
  • Licensed by the State of Delaware on Radiation Protection.
