Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed Physical Therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients with a variety of medical conditions.
  • Conduct physical therapy treatments, including trigger point therapy, orthopedic and health assessments, and exercises tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Monitor patient progress, record observations and treatment outcomes, and maintain accurate records.
  • Utilize anatomy and physiology knowledge to understand patient conditions and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in inpatient and outpatient settings, including hospital and clinic environments.
  • Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy knowledge.
  • Ability to perform trigger point therapy and orthopedic assessments.
  • Experience working in a hospital setting, with a focus on patient care.
  • Proficiency in occupational health assessments and treatments.
  • Familiarity with geriatric and pediatric populations, with the ability to adapt treatment plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Knowledge of physiology and its application to physical therapy treatments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
