Canvas Inc. is seeking a skilled Instrumentation Technician to support the 846th Test Squadron and its Holloman High Speed Test Track mission. This is a challenging opportunity for a technical professional to provide electronic technical support to various systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Field, operate, and troubleshoot systems for command and control, data acquisition, networking, power distribution, datalogging, and telemetry during mission setup, conduct, and teardown.
- Build and maintain test capabilities and resources through preventative maintenance, calibration, modification, and other activities.
- Comply with safety, security, and environmental safety policies, procedures, and other AF program requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, with a Master's degree desired.
- 3-10 years of relevant experience, with years of experience potentially substituting for education requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Holloman High Speed Test Track experience is desired.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance, with active clearances desired.
