Job Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Administer medications as ordered, accurately documenting patient responses and outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and after procedures, providing timely and effective interventions as needed.
- Participate in on-call rotations as required, responding promptly to patient needs and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Transport patients as needed, ensuring safe and efficient transfer.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in ICU nursing, with a strong foundation in critical care principles and practices.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program, with a current RN license and certification in ICU nursing (if required by the facility).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse personnel and patients.
- Strong technical skills, with the ability to operate departmental equipment and maintain accurate records.
- Cognitive demands include managing frequent interactions with patients and staff, meeting deadlines, and working under occasional close supervision or independently.
- Competitive pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week.
