Job Summary

As a Field Service Engineer at Agilent, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance of Gas Chromatography (GC) and Mass Spectrometry (GCMS) systems. Your primary responsibility will be to provide on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of these systems, ensuring that they operate at peak levels and meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and optimize GC/GCMS systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure peak system performance.
  • Provide expert advice on preventive maintenance and system configurations to customers.
  • Deliver integrated solutions, including peripherals and software, to meet customer needs.
  • Train customers and other field engineers on GC/GCMS systems and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in GC/GCMS systems as a field engineer or end user.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Agilent systems is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites.
Additional Details

This is a full-time position with a weekly schedule. The role includes the option to work remotely. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $ - $ plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits.
