About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Wegmans Food Markets. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process prescription requests and build trusted relationships with customers
  • Troubleshoot insurance claims and resolve issues to achieve the best outcome for customers
  • Follow department processes and procedures to input information, dispense medication, and verify details
  • Assist with tasks, maintain inventory levels, and ensure the department runs smoothly
  • Properly handle products, use equipment, keep accurate logs, and follow sanitation practices
Requirements
  • Computer skills and ability to perform basic mathematical computations
  • State-specific certification or registration may be required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience ordering products and controlling inventory
  • Pharmacy Technician experience and certification
