Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our Employee Health team at Loyola University Health System. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the health and safety of our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care: Utilize current nursing practices to provide patient care while focusing on the needs of the patient and exemplifying the service excellence goals of care, concern, respect, and cooperation.
  • Advocate for patients: Function as a patient advocate by being in the position of initial contact for patient-related issues.
  • Administer vaccinations: Complete required new employee/contractor and volunteer screening, including screening for TB, Hepatitis B, MMR, and varicella, as well as other applicable immunizations.
  • Perform fit testing: Administer vaccinations and perform fit testing as needed.
  • Review employee injury reports: Review employee injury reports for accuracy, consistency, and completeness, and review the incident with the employee and their supervisor as needed.
  • Participate in investigations: Participate in investigations and follow-up on all work-related injuries/illnesses.
  • Monitor trends: Monitor for trends and address, develop, and implement strategies to prevent work-acquired injury or illness.
  • Coordinate care: Coordinate care and follow-up with the Occupational Medicine physician and expedite return to work.
  • Complete COVID-19 duties: Complete all COVID-19 team duties, including COVID-19 test result notification, documentation, intake, and return to work with proficiency in all Epic functionality.
Requirements:
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing: A Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing is required.
  • BLS provider certification: BLS provider certification (accredited by the American Heart Association) is required prior to hire.
  • Illinois Board of Nursing license: Illinois Board of Nursing license is required prior to hire.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience is preferred.
