Join our dedicated team at Twelve Oaks Recovery as a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) specializing in addiction treatment.
Work Schedule: 7 PM to 7 AM Night Shift (3-12 hour shifts with a rotation every other weekend)
Twelve Oaks Recovery Center stands as Florida's premier provider of addiction treatment for individuals aged 18 and older, addressing primary substance use disorders alongside co-occurring mental health conditions. Our compassionate and skilled team is committed to delivering exceptional care in an environment built on trust, integrity, and accountability. We provide a range of services including inpatient residential treatment, partial hospitalization programs, and intensive outpatient care.

Key Responsibilities:
Purpose:
Deliver nursing care and services in accordance with the standards and scope of nursing practice as outlined by state regulations, policies, and procedures. Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional demeanor towards all patients and stakeholders, prioritizing patient safety above all.
Essential Duties:
- Monitor patient health and provide basic care, utilizing the nursing process within the LPN/LVN scope of practice to achieve care plan objectives.
- Exemplify expectations related to customer service and demonstrate urgency regarding patient safety.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure that patients' physical, psychosocial, developmental, and cultural needs are met, addressing any concerns or complaints promptly.
- Facilitate patient comfort by implementing individualized nursing interventions as outlined in care plans.
- Apply appropriate measures to advance patient wellness and maintain health.
- Engage in discussions with patients regarding their care, actively listening to their concerns.
- Report any changes in patient status to registered nurses and physicians.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, visitors, colleagues, and other treatment team members.
- Ensure the safe administration of medications in compliance with established policies and physician orders.
- Uphold professional nursing standards in alignment with facility policies, external governing bodies, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient symptoms, responses, and progress.
Additional Responsibilities:
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required. One or more years of nursing experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
Licenses and Certifications:
Current LPN/LVN license as mandated by state regulations. CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification are required (training provided upon hire). First aid certification may be necessary based on state or facility requirements.
