Jet Health is a reputable home health services provider seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team on a part-time or PRN/per diem basis. Based in the Boise, ID area, we offer flexible work arrangements and a competitive compensation package.

Salary and Benefits

We are offering an estimated annual salary of $60,000 - $80,000 depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, accident, critical illness, and cancer insurance, 401(k) retirement savings plan, company-paid life insurance, mileage reimbursement, and cell phone stipend.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients enrolled in our home health services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing patients' physical and functional abilities and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Providing hands-on therapy, exercises, and techniques to improve mobility, relieve pain, and achieve rehabilitation goals.
  • Educating patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, proper body mechanics, and injury prevention techniques.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment interventions, and communication with the supervising Physical Therapist.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate proficiency in therapy skills as outlined by regulatory agencies. A graduate degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy Assistant and current state licensure or multi-state license issued by a state member of the Physical Therapist Licensure Compact (PTLC) are required. Minimum one year experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant is preferred but not mandatory.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy Assistant with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Current State License or a multi-state license issued by a state member of the Physical Therapist Licensure Compact (PTLC).
  • Minimum of one year experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant, preferred.
  • Proficient therapy skills as outlined in the Therapy Practice Act and regulatory agencies.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
