Job Summary

As a Machinist at Goodyear, you will be responsible for operating various machines and tools to shape metal parts to precise dimensions. Your duties will include safely operating lathes, milling machines, planers, shapers, and CNC machines, as well as maintaining equipment and spare parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate common Machinist tools such as scrapers, chisels, files, and measuring instruments
  • Safely operate machines to shape metal parts to precise dimensions within tolerance
  • Maintain equipment and spare parts to ensure optimal performance
  • Operate power trucks to transport materials and equipment
