About the PTA Physical Therapist Assistant Role

CareerStaff Unlimited is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Lebanon Center in Lebanon, NH. As a valued member of our care team, you will play a crucial role in helping patients with medically complex conditions regain their quality of life.

Responsibilities
  1. Implement treatment goals, plans, and programs as established by the Physical Therapist.
  2. Assist the Physical Therapist in carrying out therapeutic interventions, including posture training, strengthening exercises, and functional skills training.
  3. Train patients in locomotion using orthotics, prosthetics, or assistive devices.
  4. Order and instruct patients in the use of prescribed equipment.
Requirements
  1. Associates Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  2. Successful completion of the National Certification Exam for RPTA.
  3. 1 year of verifiable, supervised professional experience.
  4. Current state licensure or license eligible in states where applicable.
