Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer dialysis treatment to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Prepare and maintain dialysis equipment, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a dialysis technician in the state where the job is located.
  • Basic life support certification prior to and while working with patients.
State-Specific Requirements:
  • California: Must possess current Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) certificate from California Department of Public Health at time of hire.
  • Maryland: Must possess current Certified Nursing Assistants Dialysis Technicians (CNA-DT) certificate from Maryland Board of Nursing.
  • New Mexico: Must have New Mexico dialysis technician certificate at time of hire.
  • Ohio: Must have Ohio dialysis technician intern certificate at time of hire.
  • Oregon: Must possess current Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHDT) certificate from Oregon Public Health Division at time of hire.
