Job Summary:
The Dental Assistant Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our back office. This position is responsible for supervising and training new and current employees, maintaining office flow, and enforcing office policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train new and current employees to ensure excellent performance and training success.
- Maintain office flow, ensuring minimum patient wait time and efficient chair time.
- Enforce office policies, including dress code, eye protection, and proper coverage while taking x-rays.
- Coordinate routine inventory checks and orders, and communicate with the Procurement Team.
- Work with HR and Practice Manager to coordinate OSHA responsibilities, maintain OSHA required logs, and ensure standards are met.
Requirements:
- Certification from a dental college or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of dental back office lead or supervisory experience.
- X-Ray New Mexico certification with license number.
- BLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Topical Fluoride New Mexico Certification.
- Sealant New Mexico Certification.
- Coronal Polish New Mexico Certification with License number.
