Key Responsibilities
  • Process membership sales and registrations accurately and efficiently
  • Answer phone calls and respond to member inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
  • Maintain security at the front desk and ensure that all individuals entering the YMCA are members or participants
  • Count cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift and perform shift close-out procedures
  • Keep the front desk area clean and organized
  • Stock brochures, membership applications, and schedules as needed
  • Provide tours for prospective members
  • Stay up-to-date with program brochure information throughout the year
Requirements
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  2. CPR and First Aid certification required within 90 days
  3. Strong computer skills and customer service experience
  4. Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
Physical Demands

The Membership Service Representative must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, including standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and bending/stooping. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude is also essential.

Salary and Benefits

The Membership Service Representative will be paid $15 per hour and will be eligible for benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings.
