Job Description

**Job Title:** Navision Expert

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Navision Expert to join our IT/ERP team at Terminal Optimal Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, including experience with system upgrades, data migrations, and customization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • NAV 2009 and NAV 2018 Expertise: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for NAV 2009 and NAV 2018 environments.
  • System Transition and Configuration: Manage and oversee the transition from NAV 2009 to NAV 2018, including data migration, system configuration, and testing.
  • Customization and Development: Customize and configure NAV 2018 to meet business requirements, including the development of new features and modifications to existing functionality.
  • Training and Mentoring: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for junior engineers on NAV 2018, including hands-on workshops, documentation, and ongoing support.
  • Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Mentor junior engineers in best practices for NAV development, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • System Maintenance and Support: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply necessary updates or patches to maintain the stability and security of NAV environments.
  • Project Management: Lead or contribute to ERP-related projects, including the implementation of new modules, system upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document system configurations, customizations, and procedures for both NAV 2009 and NAV 2018.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV, with strong expertise in both NAV 2009 and NAV 2018.
  • Skills: Proficient in C/AL (C/SIDE) development, and familiarity with AL language in Business Central (NAV 2018).
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Certifications: Microsoft Dynamics NAV certifications are highly desirable.
