Responsibilities- Ensure a Safe Work Environment: Comply with and promote all safety policies and procedures, reporting any accidents, incidents, or near misses to maintain a safe work environment.
- Participate in Daily Huddles: Be on site at scheduled start time for the daily huddle and tool box talk to stay informed and aligned with the team.
- Maintain a Safe Worksite: Identify potential hazards and assist in maintaining a safe work environment for all team members.
- Flexible Work Schedule: Maintain a flexible work schedule to include day/night shift work with extended hours to meet project demands.
- Operate Equipment: Assist in the operation of heavy equipment, including tack wagons, and perform tasks such as shoveling and luting asphalt.
- Assist with Project Setup: Assist with the layout of projects and marking of roadway structures.
- Build Relationships: Establish and maintain positive relationships with team members and supervisors.
- Perform Physical Tasks: Perform strenuous work in varying weather conditions, including climbing ladders and shoveling asphalt.
- Safety-Oriented: Prioritize safety and quality in all aspects of work.
- Physical Demands: Maintain good health status and flexibility to perform physical tasks, including bending, pushing, pulling, stooping, and twisting.
- Multi-Tasking: Demonstrate ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
