About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Midlands Regional Rehabilitation Hospital. As a Rehabilitation Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries or illnesses and regain their physical abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized physical therapy services to patients, focusing on restoring function, improving mobility, relieving pain, and preventing permanent physical disabilities.
- Conduct thorough medical history evaluations, assess patients' physical abilities, and develop tailored treatment plans to meet their unique needs.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and effective communication with patients and their families.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical operations and procedures, and demonstrate a strong understanding of treatment costs and financial support.
- Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills, including delegating, organizing, and educating coworkers and staff.
Requirements:
- Current and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
- Basic Life Support/CPR Certification from an approved vendor required.
- One year of direct patient care experience in a hospital setting preferred.
