Chargeback Specialist

Talntly is seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Chargeback Analyst. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a hybrid schedule based in Norcross, GA.

• Chargeback Analysis: Analyze documentation received to support disputes and determine if transactions qualify for a chargeback based on bank card association rules and regulations.
• Documentation Collection: Collect additional documentation needed from internal systems or the MasterCard Online portal to aid in the investigation.
• Chargeback Preparation: Prepare clear and concise chargeback or rebuttal letters to submit with the case, if needed or required.
• Chargeback Processing: Promptly process the chargeback or second presentment via the appropriate processing platform along with the required and/or supporting documentation.
• Communication: Communicate the status and end result of all disputes to the party that originated the case.
• Reporting: Report any suspicious transaction activity that may indicate fraud to the Fraud Analytics Team.

• Detail-Oriented: Possess excellent analytical skills and be detail-oriented.
• Communication Skills: Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational Skills: Possess excellent organizational skills to manage multiple chargeback processing cycles in a timely manner.
• Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Word and Excel.
• Business Acumen: Good understanding of general business practices and bankcard association transaction processing and chargeback rules.
