Salary Range: $81,120 - $105,000
Experience Level: Mid to Junior
As part of our dynamic healthcare studio, the successful candidate will contribute to the design and implementation of electrical systems for various healthcare projects. Candidates should possess 3-5 years of relevant experience in electrical system design for both new constructions and renovations.
Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Design Engineering Tasks:
- Examine existing as-built documentation.
- Conduct field assessments.
- Prepare drawings and models across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Collaborate with colleagues on design integration, timelines, and deliverables.
- Execute feasibility analyses.
- Create schematic designs.
Design Engineering Tasks:
- Perform energy calculations utilizing EnergyPro or IES VE software.
- Generate single-line diagrams and load schedules.
- Select and design lighting systems and controls.
- Design power systems including normal, emergency, and renewable sources.
- Conduct Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination Power System Studies.
- Experience with low voltage systems such as Fire Alarm, Security, Voice/Data, and Nurse Call systems is advantageous.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification is preferred.
- LEED Accreditation is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experienced with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Familiar with California Building Code and National Electrical Code.
- OSHPD experience is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Net Zero Energy/Carbon principles is a plus.
