We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Petco. As a Sales Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide optimal guest experience services, including answering questions and making product recommendations.
  • Assist guests in selecting merchandise and ensure they have a positive shopping experience.
  • Demonstrate a high level of interest in the welfare, health, and proper handling of all animals.
  • Perform cashiering duties and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure merchandise is properly stocked and priced, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Adhere to established operational guidelines and store policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate guest inquiries and refer to Guest Experience Leader and/or Leader on Duty as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and pull 2000 pounds utilizing material handling equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
