Atlantic Health System is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team at Newton Medical Center. Our medical team consists of board-certified obstetricians, neonatology specialists, anesthesiology specialists, maternal-fetal specialists, and pediatricians, supported by specially trained nurses, nurse practitioners, and midwives.
Responsibilities- Participate in patient assessments, diagnosis of health status, and development of care plans and treatment implementation.
- Perform obstetrical and gynecological care/procedures, attend to patients throughout the course of labor, and monitor fetal condition.
- Provide hospital-based postpartum care, perform routine gynecological care, and assist with family planning and reproductive health counseling.
