Role Overview


As a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) at Trilogy, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare, administer, and document medications, ensuring that our residents receive the care they need in a timely and safe manner.



Your Key Responsibilities



  • Grow a rewarding career through our Apprenticeship Program
  • Prepare, administer, and document all the medications used across the health campus
  • Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations
  • Ensure that all medications brought into the health campus by new residents are examined and identified by the attending physician, the facility pharmacy, or pharmacist
  • Help create a caring, compassionate environment where residents feel valued and safe
  • Follow health campus policies and procedures regarding the disposal of medications


Requirements



  • Certified License for QMA (Qualified Medication Aide) or CMA (Certified Medication Aide)
  • Experienced QMA or CMA in a long-term care or home care setting a plus
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
