Overview

HCA Florida JFK Hospital is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CT scan equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnosing medical conditions
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and obtain consent
  • Collaborate with physicians and other imaging staff to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Practice aseptic and sterile techniques for all procedures
  • Work within the CT Tech scope of practice according to policy and procedures
  • Follow general infection control measures and those specific to the CT scan department
  • Complete required documentation accurately and efficiently

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Imaging
  • One year of experience in performing CT scans preferred
  • Florida State DOH General Radiographer and ARRT CT Registry or registry eligible and acquire within six months of hire
