About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at The Moorings Park Institute Incorporated. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing diagnosis, treatment, and consultation to individuals experiencing communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screening and Evaluation: Conduct thorough screenings and evaluations to identify potential speech, language, voice, fluency, swallowing, and hearing difficulties.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with a physician's referral, if applicable, to minimize identified problems.
  • Goal Setting: Establish measurable and sequenced goals consistent with diagnosis, prognosis, and presenting problems.
  • Functional Maintenance and Discharge Planning: Develop and implement functional maintenance programs and discharge plans in accordance with physician referrals, if applicable.
  • Compliance and Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of and comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • A Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology
  • ASHA certification and State licensure to practice speech/language pathology
  • Meets CEV and HIV licensure requirements
  • Prefer 1 year of relevant experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language required
