Position OverviewAs a travel nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This position involves working in a Med Surg unit with a focus on delivering comprehensive nursing services.
Key Responsibilities- Specialty: Medical-Surgical
- Discipline: Registered Nurse
- Work Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Valid nursing license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing, including knowledge of respiratory, renal, and gastrointestinal conditions
- Current BLS certification
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation systems
- Floating policy: Participation in rotation with other staff members
- Unit Capacity: 30 beds
- Patient Ratios: 1 nurse to 6 patients
- Support Staff: Includes Clinical Coordinators, Unit Secretary, and Patient Care Technicians
- Patient Experience Goals: Focus on effective communication strategies
