As a Laboratory Supervisor at Zentech Health, you will play a pivotal role in providing expertise and championing results within our clinical laboratory.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing guidance and training to laboratory personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage laboratory personnel, including technical and non-technical staff.
- Oversee laboratory processes, including specimen collection, processing, and referral testing.
- Develop and implement quality assessment and improvement plans.
- Monitor resource utilization, including payroll, supplies, and expenses.
- Provide leadership and coaching to laboratory staff, including training and talent development.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience as a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician generalist.
- Prior supervisory experience is beneficial but not required.
- 2-Year/Associate Degree in Science or Medical Laboratory Technician is required.
- 4-Year/Bachelor Degree in Medical Technology preferred.
- FL State Supervisor License Required.
- Licensure in 3 technical specialties Required.
- ASCP or AMT required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
