Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated RN to provide exceptional care in the Telemetry Unit. This role is crucial for delivering specialized nursing services, including the management of CPAP/BiPAP, antiarrhythmic medications, vasopressors, antihypertensives, anticoagulants, and performing sheath/TR band removals.

Comprehensive Role Description

Our facility offers a variety of units tailored to meet diverse patient needs, encompassing postsurgical recovery, oncology, cardiovascular care, cardiopulmonary support, and medical/surgical services. As a Telemetry RN, you will engage with patients of all ages, addressing their cardiovascular, cardiopulmonary, medical/surgical, and post-surgical care requirements.

We maintain optimal staffing ratios to ensure high-quality patient care, with a typical ratio of 1:5/6 during daytime hours and 1:6 during evenings and nights on the medical-surgical unit. In times of increased demand, these ratios may adjust to 1:7/8. As part of the float pool, you will have the opportunity to gain experience across various inpatient units within the hospital, including:
  • Post-surgical Unit
  • Cardiovascular Unit
  • Oncology Unit
  • Med/Surg Overflow Unit
  • Med/Surg Unit
  • Cardiopulmonary Unit
