Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist

AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join their team in Presque Isle, Maine.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Computed Tomography Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art imaging department. As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • ARRT (R) & (CT) certification required
  • ME State license required
  • 1 year of experience in CT scanning preferred
  • IV start skills and biopsy experience preferred
  • Experience with Toshiba and GE CT scanners preferred
