CAM Programmer

We are seeking a skilled CAM Programmer to join our team at BlueWave Ventures. As a key member of our machine shop, you will be responsible for performing complex CAM programming tasks, ensuring efficient and accurate production processes.

• Programming and Simulation: Develop and maintain CAM programs for turning and milling machines, taking into account multi-axis, multitasking, and simultaneous machining.
• Postprocessor Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain postprocessors to ensure seamless communication between our machines and software.
• Tool Development: Create and maintain tools and tool models for 3D models of CAM programming, optimizing production workflows.
• Process Optimization: Standardize and optimize CNC machining processes, considering automation and efficiency improvements.
• Production Planning: Plan and coordinate work steps, selecting necessary equipment, tools, and machines to meet production demands.
• Special Tooling: Design and manufacture special tools and fixtures to support our production needs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our design team to implement customer requests and ensure seamless project execution.
