Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and testing of anesthesia equipment, including ventilators, intubation scopes, and physiologic monitors.
- Supply Distribution: Distribute anesthesia supplies and equipment to the operating room, ensuring that all necessary items are available for each procedure.
- Department Support: Provide support to the operating room team, including assisting with equipment setup and calibration, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and policies related to anesthesia equipment and patient safety.
- Education: Completion of an Anesthesia Technician Course.
- Certification: Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
- Experience: 1 year of recent relevant experience in an operating room setting.
- Skills: General knowledge of anesthesia-related tools, procedures, and equipment; ability to interpret data and instructions; basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
- Shift Hours: 8 hours per day.
