Job Description

As a wood mechanic, you will work with wood and wood-based materials, using CNC machines to shape plastics and metal parts. Your tasks will include building staircase, window, and door parts for FingerHaus houses with precision and accuracy. You will also be responsible for maintaining the machines through regular maintenance.

Requirements
  • A technical high school diploma or secondary school certificate with good grades in mathematics.
  • Creativity and a good spatial imagination.
  • An interest in technology and a high level of precision.
Learning Opportunities
  • Attend vocational school in Frankenberg/Eder one to two days a week.
  • Learn in inter-company machine and surface training programs.
