Job Summary:

As a Functional Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our automotive products by developing and implementing safety-critical systems. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test safety-related features and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain safety-related work products, including safety cases and hazard analyses.
  • Collaborate with software and hardware engineers to ensure safety-critical systems are properly designed and implemented.
  • Perform safety-oriented analysis, including software FTA, DFMEA, and DFA.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations, including ISO 26262.
  • Contribute to the development of safety-related documentation and training materials.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience working with ISO 26262 product development lifecycle with a focus on Passive Safety.
  • Proven experience with developing ISO 26262 work products.
  • Proven experience related to automotive embedded software development.
  • Proven experience in performing safety-oriented analysis such as software FTA, DFMEA, and DFA.
  • Experience in general automotive ECUs, components, features, and operations.
