Full-Time Histotechnologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Histotechnologist to join our team in Reno, Nevada. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for processing and preparing tissue and cytology specimens for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and prepare fixed and unfixed tissue and cytology specimens using various histologic techniques.
  • Teach and instruct other lab staff in these techniques.
  • Supervise and train new staff or students as needed.
  • Prepare microscopic slides for diagnostic processing.
  • Perform special staining techniques for interstitial elements of tissue sections.
  • Contribute to corporate strategy for additional regulatory approvals.
  • Assess the quality of slide preparations and troubleshoot procedures.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Science (or higher).
  • ASCP (HT or HTL) or eligible to obtain.
  • Experience is preferred but not required.
