Job Summary:

As a Radiologic Technologist at Henry Ford Health, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality diagnostic images to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures. This is a full-time position with a schedule of 7am-3:30pm, with rotating weekends and some holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate radiographic equipment to produce clinical diagnostic radiographs and images
• Perform diagnostic procedures according to established standards and radiation safety practices
• Work directly with patients, radiologists, physicians, and fellow associates
• Follow established rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Genesys Regional Medical Center

Requirements:

• Must possess the equivalent of a high school diploma and have completed an accredited 2-year radiology program
• Certified BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 months of hire date or job transfer date required
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 months of hire date or job transfer date required OR be certified by the American Registry of Clinical Radiography Technologists (ARCRT); renewal is required

Work Environment:

• Work setting is hospital-wide
• Exposed to patient illnesses and communicable diseases
• Subject to electrical and radiant energy hazards
