Speech Language Pathologist Position

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in Tyler, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on each student's needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom environment.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effectiveness.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress and recommended strategies.

Requirements:

  • Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
  • Licensure: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Texas or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with a team.
