About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at CommuniCare Family of Companies. As a PRN Speech Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on the lives of our residents through therapy.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and develop treatment plans for patients/residents based on their medical charts and physician orders.
  • Plan, direct, and conduct rehabilitative treatment programs to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive problems.
  • Administer, score, and interpret specialized speech tests, and instruct residents, families, and caregivers on how to monitor speech and practice new skills.
  • Attend and lead interdisciplinary meetings to relay clinical findings and make recommendations to other members of the rehab team.
  • Participate in family meetings and education to provide guidance and support.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid or pending State Speech Language Pathology License.
