Head Clerk

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining store conditions, directing employees, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Monitor and execute store displays, schematics, and resets to maintain a visually appealing store environment.
• Manage sales, inventory, and product orders to ensure optimal stock levels and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee and direct the activities of checkers, service clerks, and other employees to ensure efficient customer service and a safe work environment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment to ensure the well-being of employees and customers.
• Perform other senior or general clerk assignments as needed.

• Wide range of product and pricing knowledge, store layout, safe work practices, equipment operation, and merchandising.
• Ability to learn and retain policies and procedures, work within a team environment, and possess basic math skills.

Four-year college degree or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, or additional job experience. Minimum six months as Key Carrier or 9 months as Perimeter Department Manager (or equivalent grocery retail management experience).
