About the Position
The Psychology Department at Western Washington University is seeking qualified individuals to join our faculty pool for temporary, non-tenure track teaching positions. These positions are part-time and may become available at any time throughout the academic year and summer sessions.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in psychology, including introductory psychology, statistics, and research methods
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with departmental and university goals
- Advise and mentor students in their academic and professional development
- Participate in departmental and university service, including committee work and professional development activities
Requirements
- Doctorate or ABD in Psychology or a closely related field
- Successful teaching experience in higher education
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate learning environments that are equitable and inclusive of students with diverse social identities and backgrounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate in Psychology or a closely related field
- Evidence of scholarship and research experience
