Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations and provide treatment for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders as per physician referrals.
  • Perform thorough assessments using appropriate tools and methodologies based on physician directives.
  • Review patient histories for current diagnoses and previous medical information.
  • Set measurable objectives and create treatment plans aimed at optimizing patient capabilities in speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing functions.
  • Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and adjust goals or interventions as necessary.
  • Communicate patient progress and needs to the healthcare team, including physicians and family members.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals regarding patient evaluations, treatment progress, and discharge planning.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and billing in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Adhere to the company's Code of Conduct, policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance clinical skills.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid and unrestricted state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Current Basic Life Support or CPR certification as per state regulations.
  • At least one year of professional experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological conditions is essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Salary Information
