Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Acupuncturist to join our team at Brigham and Women's Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality acupuncture services to patients in an integrative multi-disciplinary setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine suitability for acupuncture treatment
  • Perform acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, and moxibustion procedures with precision and care
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in acupuncture and integrative medicine
Requirements
  • Successful completion of the National Certification Committee for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) written and oral examination
  • Valid and unrestricted Massachusetts State acupuncture license
  • Some college or Associate's Degree (minimum of two years of college training as defined in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts licensing requirements)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field
  • Three letters of recommendation specifically addressing abilities and experience in acupuncture
