Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Acupuncturist to join our team at Brigham and Women's Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality acupuncture services to patients in an integrative multi-disciplinary setting.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine suitability for acupuncture treatment
- Perform acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, and moxibustion procedures with precision and care
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in acupuncture and integrative medicine
- Successful completion of the National Certification Committee for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) written and oral examination
- Valid and unrestricted Massachusetts State acupuncture license
- Some college or Associate's Degree (minimum of two years of college training as defined in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts licensing requirements)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field
- Three letters of recommendation specifically addressing abilities and experience in acupuncture
- Effective problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Professional attitude under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- General knowledge of medical practices and procedures
