Key Responsibilities

The Systems Engineer role encompasses critical responsibilities for the planning, implementation, and support of infrastructure and technical systems managed by the CommonSpirit ITD Operations Team.

  • Installation and support of system hardware and software.
  • Execution of system upgrades and assessment of patches and software updates.
  • Operational support, including troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
  • Management of backup and recovery processes.
  • Administration of technology layers and monitoring functions.
  • Capacity planning and version management.

Systems Engineers collaborate closely with architects, infrastructure support teams, database administrators, and application support personnel to deliver seamless IT support to CommonSpirit clients while adhering to established IT standards and governance.


Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
  • 3-7 years of relevant professional experience in an IT technical or infrastructure domain is essential.
  • This position is eligible for remote work.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $53.72 per hour.
