As a Hazmat & Tanker CDL-A Driver with CDL Drivers Choice, you will be responsible for safely transporting research lab products across the Midwest. This is a solo driving position with weekly home time.
Responsibilities:- Operate a tractor-trailer to transport research lab products.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
- Minimum of 6 months recent tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Age 21 or older.
- Clean driving record with no preventable accidents or incidents in the past year.
- No drug test failures or refusals.
- No DWI/DUI convictions within the past 5 years.
- No safety terminations in the past year.
- .72 CPM starting pay.
- Paid weekly.
- Rider policy.
- Dog policy.
- $20 per stop pay, detention pay $17 per hour after 45 minutes.
- Modern fleet of 20-24 Freightliner or KW trucks with automatic transmission.
- Dry van equipment.
- Round trips from Illinois to Indiana, Minnesota, Kentucky, and Ohio.
- Home weekly for 34 hours.
