Job Title: Information Systems Security Manager

Join Huntington Ingalls Industries as an Information Systems Security Manager and contribute to the development of cutting-edge defense technology solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our classified information systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain security documentation, including System Security Plans, Risk Assessment Reports, and Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M)
  • Certify and accredit classified Information System networks, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and requirements
  • Manage changes to the system, assessing the security impact and ensuring all system security procedures are followed
  • Maintain responsibility for Information System media control, anti-virus definition updates, and hardware and software control for secure operating environments
  • Perform periodic self-inspections of the overall Information System program, ensuring compliance with various Government regulations
Requirements:
  • 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in a related field; 0 years of experience with a PhD or Juris Doctorate in a related field
  • Proven experience in risk assessment and security incident management
  • Operating knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems
  • Experience with STIGS, SCAP, SCC, vulnerability scanning, and logging tools a plus
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
